〜 Yakumo Taro Profile 〜
Born in Tokyo
With a father who is an art dealer and a mother who is a metalwork designer, Yakumo Taro grew up surrounded by art from an early age. He got into bands in middle school and played music for a long time, but when he started helping his father with his work, he regained his interest in art, and after studying abroad in Korea, he experienced art fairs and auctions around the world. After returning to Japan, he worked as a gallerist, mainly in the secondary market, and did business with artists around the world.
He then became an artist and continues to present works that capture contemporary art from his own unique perspective.
