Nearer, My God, To Thee

My real first name is Beth. Bethel is Hebrew for "House of God," and I have been grateful for this namesake. In my faith, a temple is the House of God, and is a place that brings me much comfort and peace. In this season of trial and turmoil, I hope we can all find peace in our faith.
