"Walk in my shoes, hurt your feet. Then you'll know why I do dirt in the street."-DMX Real, Quality Hip-Hop has the ability, more so than any other music genre, to uplift and tell a story of the human spirit. Nothing is more evident than this video. Truely Enlightening. I watch this video every so often to remind myself of this fact.
I literally just spoke with him this morning and he showed me this video. I've actually known this guy for a few years now. Ran into this guy at a Hiphop. He rides up on his bike as we were congregated outside recording a Cypher, politely gets off, joins the circle and begins destroying people. I was like wtf, who is this guy? This guy is the truth off the top of the dome. Since then I always take time to stop and speak with him whenever I see him around the city. He has his problems but he's a good guy at heart.
Watched this in 2009. Im still here watching again. This man really inspired me in dark days. I can only give a salute to him 💯
The video was a beautiful work but when the cameras stop rolling what was done o change my brother's life???? Now that's true talk!!!!
This is a fucking mazing man. You see at 5:24 when he says "...that's where Hip Hop comes in."...The dude's face lit up. You could see him smile and that shit brought a tear to my eye. Such passion for the art and the realness that is Hip Hop. I have never seen struggles like this dude, but I feel for him & I know in Hip Hop, and in all that is true, we are brothers. He has the same passion for Hip Hop as I do. I admire his love for the art! I wish him all the very best & may he find happiness!
He definitely got some skills with the rhyme, he's got a lot of depth! If the man did pass away then Rest In Peace, I believe he deserved more than this.
I pray god has something in store for u!! God bless u my g!
No doubt....he's one of the coldest emcees withtout a record deal because he spitin the real
Need an update on this guy. Hope he is doing better now
man if I could put him on I would. its sad that ppl only stop and speak but won't put him on. stop and talking don't mean shit, helping him would mean the most. Its fucked up that no one is willing to take a chance and help him he has a money voice. Stop just speaking and help the man.
The streets don't love nobody!!!
deep story, been in this man shoes.
Dudes story makes me cry so hard to lose your mom at 8 and to be homeless since you was a kid keep ya head up bro good times are coming on the herizon
reminds me of DMX when the dog do his story telling tracks
Thank you allowing us to peep into these eye's of those we call legends.
feel like crying. hope to God this guy get's off the streets
Thats the hunger and real soul of rap. Fuck pop radio. True expression.
Sudden Death-The Homeless Emcee is the truth! Man, I wish someone give that brother an opportunity because he has alot to say. D, thanks for interviewing homeboy. We always hear about who made it, but never the voice of the people who didn't. Peace!
This is more than just about rap. This is sooo sad, I hope he got some real help. Money is only the beginning of his needs.
