It's not the responsibility of people to see the brilliance that's within you! It's your responsibility to shine your light so brightly! Now that's real gem

@SLPC_

Notes I’ve taken from this episode:

1. Learn to speak with pauses to emphasize the words you’re saying. Pauses in sentences create suspense and lure your audience into what you’re about to say next.

2. Speak with different volumes—it can be quiet or loud depending on the situation. This helps eliminate monotone and creates emotion.

3. Most of us tend to speak at a volume of 3-4 out of 10. Try to bring that up to 5-6 and enunciate your words properly. The goal of speaking is for the other party to understand what you’re saying.

4. Replace filler words like “uh,” “um,” and “like” with pauses. Learn to be comfortable with pauses within your talk.

5. Use Grok or GPT to generate a 5-minute conversation starter. Video record yourself talking about the topic and watch it the next day—don’t watch it immediately after so you can stay neutral.

You’ll want to watch the video 3 times:
First time, just listen and notice how you talk—note down improvements you can make and work on them.

Second time, turn the volume off and watch how you talk to understand your visual representation.

Third time, run it through a transcription tool to identify your filler words and word choices.

Practice a lot! Your friends and family might judge you when you start changing how you talk. Practice with strangers—maybe at a gas station out of your way or with an Uber driver.

6. It’s not a quick process. It takes the best students 3-6 months, but the result is blissful. Being able to communicate well is an unfair advantage.

7. Don’t let your present dictate your future self. Give your future self a chance to be better. Be uncomfortable until you’re comfortable.

@YumYummmm

2 hours plus and I’ve laughed, learned, and lowkey healed. This ain’t just a convo—it’s free therapy with bonus jokes.😂😂

He is the most likeable and the most enthusiastic guest you've ever had.

@laukathy8464

@kate-jt4bz

Bro, not only am I not bored. I'm literally sitting here with my notebook and a pen, and I'm taking notes xD

@christinekaye6393

Great convo! When Vinh talked about trying out a new voice on "neutral ears", I had to smile. I am a 72-year-old extreme introvert and tend to be reserved and rather serious. Then, a few weeks ago, I was invited to a party and decided to try on a new persona. A man I had not seen in a long time came up to me and asked how I was. Instead of saying, "I'm fine. How are you?", I smiled at him and said, "John, my dear, I'm absolutely fantastic! Thank you for asking. I hope life is treating you well." That led into a fun, playful conversation that set the tone for the rest of the evening. I was actually rather amazed how easy it was to become the person I chose to be.

@Jiguschos

Sometimes when I can’t fall asleep I listen to a podcast and man this one kept me up till the end and I feel so energized. Energized enough to write my first comment ever on a YouTube video! Now it’s already 5am 😅

@Aaron-f6n2e

I really admire Vin for being so honest with himself, and I’ll carry this episode with me as a life lesson.

@turtlelagzgaming

4:09 Wow, how empowering it must be to go from "I was invisible my entire childhood" to "Reality is negotiable?" I think Vinh is a living example of how anybody can reshape their reality for the better. I love this guy!

@linhellie3128

I’m a teacher and I’m also introvert. I experience the same thing as him. I choose to be 100% energetic when teaching. And my students don’t believe that I’m introvert. 😅 But when I come back home from work, I feel truly exhausted. But I’m happy because teaching is my passion.

@charlesedrims

Vinh changed my life... He gave me power to demand my worth and that's a gift that i can never take for granted... Thank you

@angienavarro7362

I’m 50 years old and still haven’t found my voice. I’ve always trembled when I spoke or had to confront anyone so I am so grateful to you for having him on your show. Thank you so much. God bless both of you.❤

@CeeWorld25

This man is the meaning of the statement '' You can be both the COMPANY and the PRODUCT''

@moneymastery4her54

The segment where he talks about his son being the reason why he does what he does… I felt that. Incredible interview!
