Hi ex con with mental issues. So I was in the county jail and I had to receive treatment for my bipolar and schizophrenia. What I learned is ,plea guilty but mentally ill is just saying " I know what I was doing was wrong but I was so out of it due mental health" it doesn't lessen the sentence however they'll be sent to an forensic mental hospital which depends who you ask is just as bad if not worse than prison, Because the type of people who are in those types of hospitals, they're kind of are impossible too communicate or hang out with due to their mental health. They're are a few who where like me who will play spades and not punch you for blinking at me (yes someone punched a guard for blinking at them) or just watch TV all day tbh.

WOW. He went from the top of the world to the bottom of the barrel because of one awful decision. Unless it's self defense or in defense of innocents, there is NO reason for someone to be catching a body, especially if it's a family member. And I'm very mentally ill. I was in Psychosis for 6 years before I got my Bipolar 1 diagnosis.I also have the Glass Bones and Paper Skin build. I would NEVER get caught up like this. The idea of ending someone's life is stomach turning. Mental illness is NOT a free pass to be a psychopath.

I don't get why everyone keeps doing the I'm mentally ill thinking that they're going to get away with the crime when you claim your mentally ill they usually just put you in a mental hospital for the same amount of time you would be in prison anyways and I heard the mental hospitals are really torturous
