Superhero movie fatigue.. also people were invested in the OG Avengers actors and it feels like all the real favourites are gone.

Here my Top 10 Favourite Superhero Movies.
1. Superman (1978) - Christopher Reeve will be the OG Superman for me. Despite its campiness i love it and this was the first superhero movie that i watch when i was in Kindergarten.

2. Spider-Man 2 (2004) - The Best in the Sam Raimi Trilogy. The Superhero movie that i loved after all these years since it was relased during my Elementary days. Tobey will always be the OG Spidey for me.

3. The Dark Knight (2008) - Basically my favourite Batman movie to this day with an all around powerful performances (particularly on Christian Bale and Heath Leadger) and a dark, complex storytelling.

4. X2: X-Men United (2003) - My favourite X-Men movie. One of the most amazing superhero films that i've watch when i was 11 years old to my High School days with precise dialogue and solid action sequences.

5. Blue Beetle (2023) - My favourite DC comic book superhero finally has its own movie and its incredible. Xolo Maridueña gives a powerhouse performance here in the title role giving it so much depth. One of my favourites since last year when it came out.

6. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) - No one can deny that this is definity one of the best live-action Spider-Man movie to this day. The fact that i can watch Tobey, Andrew and Tom having a conversion scene by scene is such a delight. Seriously this movie is sooooo amazing.

7. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) - One of my favourite Marvel Superheroes this film was incredible to watch even to this day with its amazing retro vibe and vivid action sequences.

8. X-Men: First Class (2011) - My favourite X-Men prequel movie to this day just like Captain America i like the 60s retro vibe to it. I was also blown away in how much this movie delve into the characters especially Erik Lensherr (Magneto), Charles Xavier and Raven Darkholme (Mystique).

9. The Batman (2022) - Definitely one of my favourite Batman movies from now on this film is basically grim and gritty and i love it. It literally redefines the genre on so many levels. Damn and to everyone who is still doubting on Robert Pattinson's acting talent. This is definitely his redemption. He is perfection and a top notch here.

10. Sang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) - One of my favourite Superhero in the Marvel Comics. I love the fact that this movie avoids any origin story formula that we already know and just had that fresh take on the title character. Simu Liu is freaking perfection as the lead and Tony Leung totally steals the show for me.

Curious of what you think of movies like The Batman that try to take a more grounded/darker approach to the genre 🤔

@marinamunuer1787

favourite superhero ?

@americanhero1234

Yes for now.......

@Lon1349

Definitely superhero exhausted. But Superhero genre is quite linear with story telling. Good vs Evil. If Evil wins… sequel…. Death of a hero… sequel in the making. Besides just DC vs Marvel comics and superheroes. There can be other superhero stories that can be recreated. The first story told hero, Gilgamesh? Other world heroes, without super powers? And yes, I still believe Batman is a superman. Anyone who says Batman isn’t then remove ironman as a superman. hehe. Just saying. My first superhero movie is Batman (1989). I did see also Superman (1978). But I prefer Batman. Cheers!

Don't forget Invincible another popular superhero show, save to say people are fatigue of mcu and average to underwhelming writing quality
