fear of the known and unknown, that can be a scary mix
I really like how Anxiety is both presented as a problem, an antagonist, but she is also doing her best with good intents/does not hate or resent the others. She just wants to be constantly useful/protect Riley too much, like a clingy helicopter parent. She's got a role, its just not at the helm 24 7, like they all have to learn.
5:43 I love how anger just smiles when seeing Joy finally pissed off
Y’know, I was waiting for the movie to point out how Joy’s the only positive emotion of the group. I’m actually quite pleased.
0:17 “I can take notes, get coffee, manage your calendar, walk your dog, carry your things, watch you sleep” IS GIVING 👏
Anxiety saying she doesn’t need joy is CRAZY
1:11 the butt crack caught me off guard
i love how joy in the dads emotions cracks a beer open lmao
“IMMA CALL YOU WIWI” “no”
Disgust holding envy is so adorable 0:54
0:55 Sadness smiling for the first time❤
Anxiety’s squeal at 0:14 is SO adorable!
Me watching Anxiety showing all these scenarios and be like 'yep, that's exactly how it works'
This film expresses the life of an adult when he enters adolescence with new feelings and stages. What a fun film that expresses reality and our current society.
The fact that when they met anxiety she was acting like she was a new employee at a new job is so perfect because work is like anxiety inducing and getting a new job is just… well yeah you know what I mean right? And she looks like that too, lie someone who was at their job and is super tired and out of energy, but inside their mind their worries and anxiety is full of energy and all pver the place y’know?
Just saw it. They definitely explain anxiety extremely well. They did amazing with this movie.
00:22 "wow you have a lot of energy, maybe you can stay in one place" 😂😂
I loved Maya Hawke's job as Anxiety. She embraces the character in every scene... The funny ones, the bad ones and the emotional final part. Loved it
I love the father's emotions reaction to "it was good".
