I honestly never saw the “tension” everyone else saw, I saw a socially awkward angel who doesn’t know how to interact. And maybe by staring at dean like that he’s trying to get figure him out as dean is a little hard to figure out since he tends to act all macho despite being a softie. granted the macho facade could be to deter anyone thinking he’s gay but I really think that was just the environment he was raised in as all the male characters made the same gay innuendos to each other to piss or throw each other off or as general insults. But yea never saw the subtext. 🤷🏻♀️
