Growing up with Aspergers, I didn't have a lot of friends and playing Pokemon on my Nintendo 3DS was one of my main comforts. I would stay up many restless nights playing it and whenever I was lonely or bored I would play one of my Pokemon games on my 3DS. I'm a young adult now, and even though I don't play it as much, I still have the blue DS and the red 3DS and my 14 Pokemon games for them. Pokemon Diamond Version was my first ever Pokemon game and just listening to the music from it makes me cry and long for my childhood.

Enjoy the time you have kids, I'm in uni doing homework atm and im just sobbing cos I can't. life is just so screwed up some times and I remember when it wasn't quite so, oh what was younger me doing? taking all that for granted? One day you wake up and youre an adult and yet you don't feel any older, and youre certainly not prepared to be any older and so it just hurts so much to know that once upon a time you were a kid and it was ok to do kid things and that now youre a kid donning an adult's clothes and bs'ing your way through university all the while sobbing thinking about playing Pokemon under the covers and getting excited when you find a legendary Pokemon or whatever. Pls dont take any of it for granted. Being a child is a wonderful gift and one that should be treasured.

Life’s moving so fast that I just cry listening to this. I’m 21 and working as a plumber now, so these really hit home for when I was in Kindergarten and Elementary school. Just reminds me of a simpler time…

My dog (pip) had lymph node cancer. My parents said she was gonna get put down in 2 days. However i was home the next day and played games while opening every door in the house so pip could walk around freely. After coming upstairs to me playing my game she collapsed on the floor. I knew it was gonna end very soon so I took my pillow from my bed and put her on it. I took all my plushies and put them around her with a blanket on top. I decided to lay next to her with my own blanket and put on this compilation crying. After 5 minutes of playing this video she stood up, collapsed over and over. She wanted to live but her body just couldn't. I decided to call my mom and after 30 minutes me and my mom and brother went to the vet to put her down since I thought this would be the best decision. I buried my dog the same evening. The cancer spread too far. It still hurts me to have made the choice to put the dog down but it was for the best. Pip 13-7-2023. (14 years old) I will meet you when I die my best friend ❤

Life sucks right now, never thought I’d be in the military and as I keep getting older I always want things to go back to the ways it was back then. Pretending like you were asleep and hiding your DS under the pillow when your parents would check on you and having that feeling that you’d wish you were and adult so you wouldn’t have to deal with it. But then you realize that you would trade anything to go back to those times, even just for a minute.

Got my first real job while I was still in university not too long ago, I love to throw this on while I go through emails and office work as a reminder/ throwback to my younger years. That starting song always kills me, I was a gen 4 kid through and through and have so many memories of playing platinum and soul silver staying up late trying to complete the national dex. Love this kinda stuff. Hope you all are doing well.
